Pet Boarding FAQs
The boarding facilities at Century Veterinary Group are clean, comfortable, and environmentally controlled.
We encourage you to take a tour of our boarding facilities before you bring your pet in for boarding. Just pop in any business day and we will take you for a tour.
To ensure the very best pet boarding care for your pet and for other cats and dogs, we maintain certain requirements. First, all pets must be up to date on vaccination and have received an additional bordetella vaccination that protects against kennel cough within the past six months. All our guests must also be pest-free and have proper flea and tick prevention measures in place.
Dogs go for four walks each day, with every walk lasting between 10 and 15 minutes.
Pets enjoy two meals daily and fresh water all day long.
You can bring your pet’s favorite food or we can supply a high quality dry pet food for your dog or cat.
By all means! You can even bring along your pet’s blanket to ease the transition from home. Most pets enjoy their stay, though, and begin having fun with our trained staff from the moment you bring your dog or cat in to our facility.
Each pet gets his own cage, cleaned three times a day or even more as necessary. Individual cages gives your pet the privacy and security he needs during his stay.
Century Veterinary Group features an individual feline ward for our boarding cats, so the sights, smells, and sounds of dogs never bother our kitty guests.
Century Veterinary Group has staff present 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so we will never leave your dog or cat completely alone.
Our trained staff can administer medication as necessary, provide haircuts, clean teeth, and provide other services your pet needs to stay comfortable during his boarding stay. We also offer grooming, which is important for your dog’s health and also adds an extra level of pampering for your pooch while you are away.
Our veterinarian at Century Veterinary Group is always available in case anything should happen while you are away. This extra measure of protection can bring you peace of mind whenever you have to leave home and be away from your pet.
